Of course, the You on the date might have been The Real You and all that, but she obviously didn't think you were horrid before meeting you or she wouldn't have met you at all. Although I'm not one to ask for a second chance--especially in personal situations--if she's really all that and a bag of chips, maybe you should see about getting another shot. Since she didn't manage it on her own, maybe you should help her figure out that first impressions aren't your exactly forte. Maybe--but that's only if you think she's really worth it. This was written in the few hours after I finally heard from the girl in question and I was still annoyed with myself.
