Backgammon - the gentleman’s game

Backgammon is one of those games that has a certain cachet to it; it’s the game played by smoothly dressed Bond villains, (in that first scene where they get the better of him but you know that won’t last) and it has the association with the monied set - lots of diamonds and pearls on the women, lots of Rolex and Armani on the men.

So it came as a bit of a surprise to find that this is a game that can be played online - just like slots, or poker. Play backgammon at Backgammon Masters and you’re playing with the best. Their newly re-designed site (which is laying the groundwork for a fully integrated online gaming system that will include poker, roulette and blackjack) is easy to use and navigate and gives you all the help you need to get started with backgammon.

All you need to do to get started is to download a simple piece of software, and if you have any trouble there’s an FAQ section, extensive helpful articles and lots of operators standing by on the Live Chat Support should you need them. If you want to learn the game a bit before committing any of your hard earned wages, you can even use Play Money! What could be better?

    I had no idea that backgammon was considered to be a “gentlemen’s game”. I used to be quite good at it but haven’t played for sometime now. Hmmm … I wonder where I put the set.

    @brighfeather:
    Well, maybe it’s not widely known as the gentleman’s game but to me its always had that aura about it.

I think you know what to do....
