I know and like this this new theme. Some of the churches at wordpress.com have requested that it be added there because they particularly like the center panel image. It's a bright and clean theme. The reddish brown background is IMO an improvement but I would be inclined to select one that is a little more on the red side and a little less on the brown side. The charcoal coloured headings and the footer bar are effective attention getters. I'll have to check out both plugins you mentioned. Thanks for sharing.
