According to comments on Dougal's post the 2.3 wasn't secure but the 2.3.3 was. It's not important to me now, I'm running 2.5! How many plugins are you running? Bet it's not as many as some - one guy admits to running 41, his blog must be damned slow. According to comments on Dougal’s post the 2.3 wasn’t secure but the 2.3.3 was. It’s not important to me now, I’m running 2.5!

Bet it’s not as many as some – one guy admits to running 41, his blog must be damned slow.

I've had no problems so far. I see from various forums and blogs (Dougal's through the dashboard for example) that the new 2.5 backend is almost universally hated. I think WP is going to lose some face over this upgrade. Dougal's post also mentioned that (currently) 2.3.3 is safe and secure so there's no problem with waiting.
