The same friend from school that first got me into Dire Straits also got me into Lone Justice, by showing me an Old Grey Whistle Test clip of this and ‘Ways to be Wicked’. If you don’t know who Lone Justice were, they were Maria ‘Show Me Heaven’ McKee’s first successful band. They never really made it big here in the UK, though and more’s the pity. Their eponymous album is full of rocking little tunes that have easily stood the test of time.
