Midnight Oil never really made it all that big in the UK, which is a shame as they are an excellent band.
I first heard this song, back in about ‘88 or ‘89, via my flatmate, who’d got it from his sister in the US where they were enjoying a bit of success. They’re actually an Australian band, so I guess that means their music was well travelled by the time I first heard it.
This probably my favourite track, but the whole of the Diesel and Dust album is well worth a listen.
