Never a big success here in the UK, Canadian band Barenaked Ladies are probably best known for their hits If I Had $1,000,000 and One Week. But those two songs don’t really tell the whole story of this band, who can turn their hand to pretty much anything. This song shows a more emotional side to them, with a beautifully sung, moving lyric accompanied by an understated backing.
