For me, there are two great Welsh voices – Mr Jones and Miss Bassey. Where many of their contemporaries have fallen out of fashion and fallen by the wayside, both have re-invented their music for the changing times and have stayed at the top of their game.
This collaboration shows just why Shirley Bassey has had such a long and glorious career – how could she not, with such a superb voice?
