Today’s song is Love Letters by Elvis Presley

Coming home this evening, I heard Jason Donovan’s new version of this timeless classic. I was struck by two things; first, how unsuited to this sort of material his voice is and second, how every other version I’ve heard is way better.

Some people prefer the Kitty Lester version, some prefer Alison Moyet’s, but my favourite has always been the Presley version. So today’s SOTD is for anyone that was listening to Steve Wright’s show today and would like to hear a good version of Love Letters.
