Last year (2011) when I started cycling agaih, I set myself a number of goals. By the end of the year, I’d achieved some of them and not got close to others. On the whole, though, I was pleased with my progress.
Now that the 2012 cycling season has started, I’m going to re-set my goals and gradually work my way through them once again. Perhaps this year I’ll get some more of them ticked off.
I doubt that they’ll seem too difficult to all you serious cyclists out there, but for an amateur, fair weather cyclist like me I think they’re more than strenuous enough!

- Cycle 50 miles in one weekend : Done – Rides 4 & 5 : Saturday, 24 March & Sunday, 25 March

- Cycle 100 miles in a week

- Cycle 100 miles in one day
- Cycle 1,000 miles by the end of August 2012
