After yesterday’s epic 32 miler, today was a bit more relaxed. An 18 mile jaunt along the coast just before lunch.

Having said that, I did manage to clock up another goal – 50 miles in a weekend – and also did a personal best for the year on average speed and time for a single mile.

Couldn’t get out on the bike last weekend due to having to work both days, so I was determined to make sure I got some miles in this weekend if the weather was good.

Well, the day dawned bright and warm and – with the day’s chores and F1 Qualifying out of the way early on, I was out on the bike by just after 10:15.

32 miles later I was back home, exhausted but pleased that I’d got so far on only the fourth ride of the year, and still so much earlier than I managed it last year. Oh, and I ticked off another two goals in one ride. Sweet!

Clocked up ride number three today, and ticked off another of 2012′s goals – 20 miles in a single ride. Weather was lovely, and there were plenty of people about (some of them even paid attention to other road users!). Even though I was knackered by the end of it, I really enjoyed the ride.

Endomondo.com seems to be having some issues at the moment, so I can’t link to my ride information. I’ll add it in to this post as soon as I can.

The case for the phone is working out well, and I was even able to play music on the move (not via headphones, which is dangerous) to help pass the time more pleasantly.
