Scarlet, starring the not-at-all-ugly Natassia Malthe, is coming soon to our TV screens. Not sure yet what it’s all about (I’m guessing beautiful, successful actress has secret life as baddie basher, or something similar) but judging from this trailer it should be good:

Peer Papers
Over the last few years, I’ve been helping a friend of mine with various education courses that he’s been doing - everything from BTEC to D.Phil research - and one of the big things that came across was the scarcity of readily available reference work to back up the submissions with. Blog Design
I’ve written before about blog themes and designs and you’ll have noticed that I change the theme for The New Wolfs Howl on a semi-regular basis. This is partly because I get bored with the look, but also partly because I never really find a design that is exactly what I want. Only having limited coding skills, and not being very visually creative, it’s also not really an option for me to come up with a design myself.

I’ve long had a desire to buy myself that most ostentatious of personalised gifts - the private number plate. The one I really want (MB 1) was once offered for sale at £175,000, which is a little out of my price range, but Northumbria Numbers have some that are a bit more in my price range.

Football
After not really paying it much attention before, I’ve really got into football this season. We’ve been sponsoring our local team (come on Borough) and I’ve had the opportunity to go to a lot of the local matches - it’s amazing how you get hooked on it. Borough are doing well - vying with Lewes to be division champions - and as we enter the last third of the season, the tension is really mounting. There’s nothing quite like watching the home side walking off the field with another victory in their pockets.
I’ve just been checking out the odds at betfair and it’s pretty close there, too. Lewes are currently favourites, but Borough are not far behind (which unfortunately makes the odds fairly poor- I should have put my bet on at the beginning of the season). Actually, if you haven’t checked it out before take a look at betfair; rather than betting against the house, you’re betting against other users - so I could bet against a Lewes fan, for instance.
