The Jersey Shore reboot came on April 5, starring  Jenni Farley (JWoww), Deena Cortese, Nicole Polizzi (Snooki), Michael Sorrentino (Situation), Vinny Guadagnino, DJ Pauly D, and Ronnie Margio.

“I love the original show. I’m sad that the whole cast will not be there, but I am at the same time happy Sammie is not coming back. All she did was cause drama and tension in the house,” junior Ashley Bertilo said.

The new show takes place in Miami, Florida. The series was recorded in Miami in 2009. Things did not go well for the cast due to Sam and Ron’s relationship. Jenni and Snooki wrote a letter to Sam staring her in house boyfriend, Ron, cheated on her. The house was not the same after that.

“I think the new show is a great idea, the cast has grown up so much and they are all adults now. They will not be the same idiots they were when the show first aired,”  junior Andie Coates said.

Samantha, who will not be joining the show released a statement  “I have chosen not to join the show this season, because I am at a completely different place in my life right now, focusing on my businesses and relationships. I am not the same person I was at 22. At 33, I am currently extremely happy in every aspect of my life.”

“Sam and Ron needed to break off. They were a complete mess and all they did was fight nonstop. It was not a healthy relationship and it just caused unnecessary issues,” junior Jahmiah Higgins said.

A surprise guest, Angelina is someone from the first two seasons,. Angelina announced that she will be joining the cast shortly after the third episode.

“I can not stand Ang, she is annoying and is a little problem starter. She likes attention, bad or good,” Bertillo said.

In the years since the original series ended, JWoww, Snooki, Angelina, and Pauly all got botox and plastic surgery. Mike is currently facing jail time due to tax evasion, his court date is set for May 2018. Pauly was traveling the world with his Dj job. The females all got married and had kids.
