Samsung Galaxy Fold Recall

The Samsung Galaxy Fold is being recalled and sales have been cancelled due to many problems with the phone cracking.

“It’s a nice concept, but who really needs a phone that folds?” junior Brennan Higgins said.

When the first bach of review devices rolled out, they started to fail. When reviewers were slandering the phone, Samsung decided to try and remove any bad spoken about the Galaxy Fold, and demanded the return of all devices. Then last week, customer orders were stopped.

“[Samsung] has reviewed the defect caused from substances [that entered the device] and we will reach a conclusion in a couple of days, We will not be too late.” Samsung CEO Dong Jin Koh told The Korea Herald

The phone was meant to be released on May 3, but was delayed for an unknown time. Customers who had placed pre-orders were told last week that, if a new shipping date had not been announced by the end of May, then their order would be cancelled.

“Once they fix the problems, it will be better, but it won’t be a real phone until it can be thin and useable everyday,” sophomore Connor Jeffreys said.
