Jenna Wilson: Homecoming Queen

Senior Jenna Wilson was this year’s senior homecoming queen, with senior Jonathan Carney as king. Wilson is involved with the school in after school activities such as NHS, She also plans to go to college after school. 

“I thought it would be awesome to be homecoming queen, but it wasn’t anything that I expected. It was an honor to just be on court with everyone else and an even bigger honor to be homecoming queen,” Wilson said. 

Wilson said her favorite part of homecoming were the spirit days, where students dressed according to set themes; the homecoming game,the Homecoming Parade and winning homecoming queen. 

“I would like to thank StucCo and Mr.A for all the hard work they put into homecoming and other school events,” Wilson said. 

Outside of homecoming, Wilson is involved in many after school activities including varsity dance, timberland thespian troupe, link crew, and national honors society. 

“I am involved with these activities, mainly because I enjoy doing the activities they perform. The biggest part of my life is dance team, and I love being a part of the team and dancing with them,” Wilson said. 

After high school Wilson plans to attend college to obtain her doctorate in physical therapy. She hopes to work with young athletes and help them overcome their injuries.
