It feels like summer break will take forever to arrive, with no more school breaks lining up for the rest of the year, tests like AP Exams and EOCs coming up in May, not to mention Finals at the end of the year to look forward to.
But, as the saying goes, the year will be over before we know it. Until then, here are some tips to ease stress and manage work:
Tip 1: Acknowledge your feelings
According to the BBC, fully expressing your discomfort and emotions can help with the reasoning behind them and ultimately gaining more control. Plus, it lets you and others know you need help. The first step to ease your stress is to understand why you are stressed, so the next time something is bothering you, don’t feel bad about letting it out to your friends, school counselor, family or even with just yourself.
Tip 2: Make your space organized and cute
A good rule of thumb to making school a lot easier, is to keep your space organized. Not only does it help with planning and knowing where assignments are, it can uncloud your mind by making it easier to understand and remember since it can help, according to Barron News.
Making your notes colorful and neat can also help boost creativity and inspiration- which leads to motivation to study and aids in coming up with more ideas.
