Since high school is full of experiences both good and bad, the THS 2025 senior class has advice for the class of 2028.
“Do everything. Everything you think you might like to do, and if you think you might not like it, just try it and you can drop it at the beginning of the year if you need to and find something else,” senior Elizabeth Kollias said.
At Timberland, there are 386 graduating seniors and 346 freshmen. The class of 2025 started with 393.
“Get involved. Go to the football games, go to the basketball games and do all of the events you can do. Just get involved,” senior Adewale Osibamiro said.
In order to graduate high school, students need 25 credits total. Teachers at THS have different study hall hours where students can come in and do their school work.
“It’s okay to not have friends; you do not need to have friends. I feel like the more you have friends, the more you don’t really focus and get your work done,” senior Esperance Jean said.
According to career counselor Amy Green, after graduation approximately 50% of the seniors plan to go to college, 4% are joining the military and 5% are enrolling in a trade school and 41% have not made a decision yet or not yet reported their decision to the guidance office.
