Endgame Review

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos in “Infinity War,” that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films.
“Exciting, entertaining, and emotionally impactful, “Avengers: Endgame” does whatever it takes to deliver a satisfying finale to Marvel’s epic Infinity saga” rotten tomatoes critics said.
The empty churnings of last year’s “Avengers: Infinity War” ended on an impressive, if tentative, note of loss: a batch of beloved characters was reduced to ashes, murdered by Thanos (Josh Brolin), who, enabled by his possession of the six infinity stones, also killed half of all living beings. The sense of grief, though, felt brazenly manipulative; given that the reversibility of time was planted as a plot element in the film, it was a foregone conclusion that these heroes would somehow be coming back in the next “Avengers” installment. As it turns out, the effort to bring them back is the story of “Avengers: Endgame,” the last film in the series.
From the start, “Endgame” links to the previous film with a series of deaths and near-deaths, a new mourning and a narrow escape, and finds a group of surviving Avengers, twenty-three days after Thanos’s massacre, preparing a new mission.
The action then leaps five years ahead, when the survivors of Thanos’s campaign inhabit cities in ruins. But Tony’s sense of guilt at the death of Peter Parker spurs him back into action, sparks his reconciliation with his cohorts, and gives rise to the time-travel adventures at the core of the drama.
Robert Downey Jr. deserves an Oscar for his performance in “Endgame”. He also had an amazing cast with so much talent to back him up, ultimately making him a better actor.
Being a Marvel fan, waiting for this movie was excruciating and it was worth the wait and the late movie times. This movie was action packed, heartfilled, and a tear jerker all in one. The creators really did an amazing job bringing this to the big screen.
As of Monday the 6, all movie spoilers were lifted by Marvel, meaning that if one has not already seen “Endgame” they can not get mad when it is spoiled.
