Recently a heated debate started over twitter on whether Chick-Fil-A or Popeyes serves the better chicken sandwich.

“I can definitely give the service [from] Chick-Fil-A [the better score], but the food is [better at] Popeyes,” junior Sam Ellefson said.

In a survey available to all THS students, with 143 responses, 57% prefered Chick-Fil-A, 14% prefered Popeyes, 14% enjoy both and 21 people (14.7%) said they prefer neither.

The Chick-Fil-A sandwich costs $3.05 and the Popeyes sandwich costs $3.99.

Many people said they prefer the service at Chick-Fil-A, for many reasons but a prominent reason, is how they say “my pleasure” after every order.

“I don’t like either of their food, and I don’t like what Chick-fil-A supports,” sophomore Jordan Meininger said.

Popeyes offers a spicy variant of their famous chicken sandwich, and Chick-Fil-A offers “Chick-Fil-A Sauce” to put on the sandwich.

“To be honest I haven’t had either,” junior Daniel Long said.
