Ladies Soccer: Kicking off a Fresh Season

This year’s lady’s soccer teams are up and running and have even played a few games already.

“My favorite thing about playing soccer is playing with your teammates and meeting new people and working together with people that you wouldn’t usually work with,” sophomore Kenna Beine said.

This season, the stands are open again to THS students, as well as members of the player’s family.

“If I could describe my team in three words I would say we are hard-working, determined, and motivated,”  freshman Savannah Davis said.

Timberlands lady Soccer currently has 20 trophies in the trophy case, the first one dating back to 2002, and the most recent being from this year.

“My favorite thing about playing soccer is just being able to be with my friends every day and working hard and playing games,” freshman Taylor Reiter said.

Soccer is a game played by two teams of eleven players with a round ball that may not be touched with the hands or arms during play except by the goalkeepers. The object of the game is to score goals by kicking or heading the ball into the opponents’ goal. If you have any further questions, contact the ladies soccer head coach at [email protected].
