What Timberland is Most Thankful For

The holidays create an atmosphere of giving and receiving to show appreciation and love. A holiday that expresses thankfulness is Thanksgiving. Around this time, families talk about the people, places, and things that make them happy. Football and food are also included. Thanksgiving is the second most popular holiday according to wikipedia. Let’s see what Timberland students have to say about what they are grateful for.

Most students said that they were most thankful for their family and/or friends according to a survey sent out. Other students decided that they were most thankful for things like their calculator, their hat, hoodies, and burgers.

Did you know that Abraham Lincoln proclaimed Thanksgiving a national holiday on October 3, 1863? And that Turkey wasn’t on the menu at the first Thanksgiving. Venison, duck, goose, oysters, lobster, eel, and fish were likely served, alongside pumpkins and cranberries? These facts are stated on worldstrides.com.
