On the track and field team there are 56 girls and 61 boys. Both teams are coached by Timothy Woodson as well as Dave Elsten, Nathan Harman, Chris Cordonier, Scott Johnston, Daniel Staples and Isaiah Winkleman.

“We have a really strong team on both sides this year. For the girls’ team, the goal is  to win districts. I think the boys can go top two or three,” Woodson said. 

The Track team had only two meets at home this year,  JV on March 28 and varsity’s Wolfpack Invitational last Saturday.

“I want to get my Personal Record and improve throughout the season,” senior Lainey Busateri said. 

The next varsity track meet is the Henle Holmes Invitational at Parkway Central High School on April 13 at 4:15. 

“I would love to place in the top three in the state for the triple jump this year,” senior Luke Busetari said.
