Now that it is November and the weather has chilled, dressing for that change is at the forefront of some people’s minds. Here are the opinions over fall fashion from THS students and staff.
“My favorite part of fall fashion is the really cozy sweaters,” sophomore Kate Ruether said.
Sophomore Riley Holstein said “I really like the warmth behind it, and being able to just throw on a sweatshirt or beanie whenever I want.”
According to Vogue, trench coats paired with high boots are in fashion this fall season.
“I love boots. I look forward to the day I can put on my boots. I think they make every fall outfit,” English teacher April Smith said.
“My favorite part is when the leaves change colors. I love all the colors like yellow and orange,” sophomore Landen Buck said.
“I like the darker oranges… and yellows,” FACS teacher Jennifer Caimi said.
According to Harper’s Bazaar, pencil skirts with elongated hemlines are another fall fashion trend for 2023.
“There is something really primal about sweaters and jeans for me, like it makes me feel like an animal,” senior Maddie Meyer said.
“My favorite part of fall fashion would be wearing my uggs and flannels,” senior Macie Schnur said.
According to Jennifer Caimi, one of Timberland’s Family And Consumer Sciences teachers, the clothing class students make pajama pants in the winter so the students can have warm legs.
“I like being able to wear hoodies and sweatshirts, and not have to wear a big heavy coat yet or just have a t-shirt. I like to be cozy.” Creative Writing teacher Bridget Campbell said.
“I like the brown cozy boots,” Junior Molly Morff said.
Senior Drew Benjamin said “I really like all the sweaters, leg warmers, and everything warm and cozy!”
According to House of Hipsters, leather apparel, whether real or faux, is on point for the 2023 fall season.
