“Players improvements are; Hitting and serving become more consistent each play, and overall strategy was better,” coach Jennifer Granicke said.

The team had many accomplishments this year including: Gateway Athletic North/Central Conference Champions and Team District Champions.

“This has been my favorite season. I love playing tennis with my friends. When you’re winning, it makes it so much more fun,” sophomore Leah Wall said.

Granicke has been coaching tennis at Timberland for five years, family and consumer science teacher Teresa Burbala is also an assistant coach for the tennis team.

“My favorite part about coaching is being able to bond with the players outside of the classroom environment. We become more than just a team, but like family, where we look out for one another and help each other succeed,” Granicke said.
