Art club provides a creative space for students looking to increase their artistic ability, while getting involved with the school and making new friends.

“I like art club, because I enjoy doing art,” sophomore Joshua Barnes said.

Art teacher Crystal Wing started art club 17 years ago, because she said she believed it would be a great way to get students from class involved with the school while doing things they loved, such as sharing art, celebrating art and making the school and the community more beautiful through art.

“I believe students can get an awareness of others through art, and can appreciate others through art making,” Wing said.

Art club meets every Tuesday after school from 2:30 to 3:30 in room 214.
