LeBron James’s “The Shop”

LeBron James’s new HBO series, “The Shop”, debuted August 28 on the first episode, there were many noteworthy guest stars: Snoop Dogg, Odell Beckham Jr., Draymond Green, and of course LeBron James.

The show will have eight 30 minute episodes in the first season and they will air periodically. Each will take place in a barbershop in the country and have new guest stars. Those guest mainly being professional athletes.

“I would like to see Kobe Bryant or Ariana Grande, because they are well known,” junior Amare Johnson said.

The guests talked about topics with serious weight, such as racism and balancing being a good parent and being a good athlete. But there were still plenty of jokes thrown into the conversation. Guild Some Discussion the show was, LeBron son’s name, Candace Parker on being a mom, double standards and LeBron finding himself. “The Shop” premiere was filmed at  West Hollywood’s Barber Surgeons Guild.

“I’d like to see LeBron talk about life in LA and the team,” Johnson said.

LeBron’s move to LA was not just for basketball it was also for his life once his basketball career is over, he starred in a documentary last year “Best Shot”, is filming a documentary “Shut up and Dribble and planning “Space Jam 2.” Also in his home town he built his own school for kids whose parents have low income.

“I’ve been waiting to see [LeBron] in a ‘Space Jam’ movie for years,” Johnson said.
